This Is what It Means When A Narcissist Says I Love You

By: Anuradha

Dear partner,

I am going to say something that I never admit to you before. When I say “I love you”, I mean I love how you want to believe I love you so badly. I love the things you do for me. I love the way you give the control over things to my hand I love to handle you. I enjoy making you feel insignificant and weak.

I love the fact that your life is all about me. I love the way you care for me, soothe my pain and think about me. I love when you take all your time for me and how you give attention to me.

I love to make you feel uncomfortable and make you doubt your own self. I feel so great when you wait for me to judge the good and bad for you.

I need you because I don’t want you to abandon me and I need someone to be my punch bag, my stress reliever. I love when you look so desperate and worried.

When I say I love you I mean the reverse. I hate you as much as possible and through that hate, I learn how to love myself. I need you to suffer because I hate that I have to rely on you for this.

I love to make you cry and act as if you are guilty of everything. I enjoy seeing you suffer. I need to make you the victim of my personal flaws and I need to make you feel horrible. Most importantly, I know you won’t leave me as you are hooked up in this damn relationship.

I love to make you a fool and make you think you are with the person who supports you for everything. I don’t and I won’t ever love you and all this drama is just to manipulate you.

When I say I love you, it is not what love truly represents. It only means I love the way you respect my rules and how you live by them.

You should know this is not real darling. You should know!

With love,

Your Narcissist.
