Friendship is a beautiful thing. when you find the right friend for your life, you will see how beautiful your life can be. Friendship can be there even between most unlikely people. Pixar’s new SparkShorts programme; Kitbull presents the beautiful story between a stray kitten and an abused Pitbull. It was directed by Rosana Sullivan and was produced by Kathryn Hendrickson.

Speaking of the short film, the director Rosana says that,

“To be fully honest, it started from a cat video. I love watching cat videos in times of stress. And I thought you know what, I just want to draw a little kitten doing something silly and very very cat-like. At first, I just wanted to draw something that made me feel good and was fun, but it evolved into something more personal to me, eventually, I realized that growing up I was always very sensitive and very shy. And had actually a lot of trouble making connections, making friendships. So I related to this kitten because it never really stepped out of its comfort zone to be vulnerable and make a connection. So that’s eventually what the story became.”

At the beginning of the story, the stray kitten seems to be reluctant to make a friendship with the Pitbull. However, when both of them realize their sad situation the first sparks of their friendship rise and finally the little kitten bravely helps his big friend to escape from his prison.
