Imagine being in a place where you are completely secluded and isolated from the human intervention? All that you can see is lush greenery around you and it would simply be like being lost in safe heaven.
The chirpings of the birds, fresh air creating wonders in open space, and with no hard concrete structures to destroy your peace, this would be the ideal place for artists and nature lovers to get inspired and to have a moment of peace from their ordinary lives.

This village is located in Shengsi, an archipelago of almost 400 islands at the mouth of China’s Yangtze River. It was once the home of over 2000 fishermen and it was abandoned back in the 1990s when the residents moved away to a better location. They had to struggle with daily problems related to the education of their kids and food deliveries and because of it, now the entire village has been swallowed by nature.
