There are two kinds of people in this world, cat people and dog people. This is something that even defines the relationship you have with another person. People might love you or hate you based on your attitude towards these two factions. You’re always asked to pick one out of the two and never both. However, if you are someone who loves both cats as well as dogs, then this Vietnamese dog is just the way to avoid picking a side.
The Vietnamese dog is similar to a cat in appearance and people were fascinated by this doggo. Subreddit users also did not hesitate to come up with conspiracy theories as to how this breed originated. One Subreddit user conveyed that “he looks like a cartoon” while another expressed that “it’s a Hmong dog breed.” Hai Anh and Tuan are the owners of this adorable ball of fluff named Dúi, which translates to ‘bamboo rat’ in English.
According to Hai Anh, “Dúi is a mix of a native dog breed and a short-legged dog called Dingo. But I think he might have a gene mutation too, making him look like some sort of corgi mix.” They had bought him from a mountain province in Vietnam.
Dúi loves to play with other dogs as well as humans. He is also very funny and sweet. The images shared online are sure to convince you that this doggo appears similar to a stuffed toy than an actual creature.
Dúi’s owners created the doggo his own fan page and the page received over 40,000 likes just five days after it was created. He now has fans from across the globe and is quite the rising star in Vietnam. If you are planning on getting a cat or a dog and cannot choose between the two options, then you could always go for option number three which is getting a Vietnamese dog such as Dúi over here.
