Even though many relationships that we make in life can break down with time, the relationship between a mother and a child will never die because it is that much unique and special. Only very few kids in the world will detest their mother or moms will detest their kids. However, here we have a perfect example to show how special is the bond between a mom and her kid.

Ada Keating is 98 years old and her son is 80 years old. She has decided to stay with her son in Moss View care home in Liverpool just to take care of him and both of them are doing really well together!

Ada was a mom of four kids namely Tom, Barbara, Margi, and Janet, and Janet passed away when she was just 13. Her son, Tom was working as a painter and a decorator at HE Simm building services and then located on Prescot Road. He became a resident in Moscow View back in 2016 as he needed help and support.

Ada and her son were very much attached to each other and Ada say “I say goodnight to Tom in his room every night and I’ll go and say good morning to him. When I go out to the hairdresser he’ll look for me to see when I’m coming back. When I get back he will come to me with his arms outstretched and give me a big hug”.

Adding to this Tom said “They are very good here and I’m happy to see my mum more now she lives here/ she is very good at looking after me. Sometimes she will say ‘Behave yourself!”

The bond between them is really heartwarming and the manager of the facility, Philip Daniels said that “It’s very touching to see the close relationship both Tom and Ada share and we are so pleased we were able to accommodate both of their needs. It’s very rare to see mothers and their children together in the same care home and we certainly want to make their time together as special as possible”.

The Internet is also overwhelmed by their love and strong bond.

As Ada says ‘You never stop being a mum’ and we are sure that she will look after Tom really well!
